As a prerequisite to our Hands-On Ansible, Debugging Ansible, and Python programming courses, you will need to understandat least these three data formats:
YAML (YAML Ain't Markup Language) (originally Yet Another Mark-Up Language)
JSON (JavaScript Object Notation), and
XML
What you'll learn
This mini-course will explain each of these data types and why they are important to you. You will see how YAML is used for Ansible and JSON and XML are used for programming Web APIs.
Requirements
This is a fundemental prerequisite to may of the other courses offered here. The only real prerequisite is a basic understanding of computers and at least beginning experience with at least one programming language
